RESERVATIONS – ABEL BUELL BED & BREAKFAST, CLINTON CT

Long-time owners Don and Cathy Wagner present two rooms in the original 1760’s part of the house, one queen and one twin with shared bath. A cosy fireplace in winter and a breezy deck in summer grace the downstairs gathering room.

The Rachel and Ebeneezer Room is a twin bedded room, under the eaves, named for the Down East Maine sailing ship built for Clinton resident and sea captain Eben Whitcomb. The room houses a watercolor of the vessel by noted artist Victor Mays.
The Harvey Gamage is a queen- bedded room also under the eaves, graced by another Mays’ watercolor of another Maine schooner (Don served as hand on both ships.) Gracious old trees shade the deck and patio and flowers flourish in the summer sun.

Rates: $135 per night plus tax
